Story of The Karate Kid 2010

Dre Parker ( Jaden Smith ) is a 12-year-old boy who could be the most popular in Detroit , United States , but his mother’s career ends up taking them to the city of Beijing , China .

In the new country, Dre falls in love with his classmate Mei Ying, who becomes his friend, but cultural differences make this friendship impossible. Worse yet, Dre’s feelings make the toughest student in the class and Kung Fu prodigy , Cheng, become his enemy, causing Dre to be bullied at the hands of Cheng’s friends, without being able to react. With no friends in the new city, Dre has nowhere else to turn except to the caretaker of his building Mr. Han ( Jackie Chan ), who is secretly a Kung Fu master .

As Han teaches Dre that Kung Fu is much more than punches and skill, but rather maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing the tough guys in the class will be the adventure of a lifetime.
