Taylor, who had ventured into another submersible, makes it to the trapped sub and manages to save Wall and Lori. However, Toshi sacrifices himself by closing the hatch and detaching the rescue sub and turning on the lights to lure out the shark allowing Taylor, Lori and Wall to escape.
