Black Adam: The Legendary Champion
Long ago, in 2600 BC, the kingdom of Kahndaq was ruled by the tyrannical king Ahk-Ton. He enslaved his people to mine the mythical metal Eternium, using it to forge the Crown of Sabbac in his quest for ultimate power and invincibility. However, a young slave boy dared to defy him, sparking a rebellion that led to his ultimate downfall. Chosen by the Council of Wizards, the boy was transformed into an adult superhero, ultimately defeating Ahk-Ton and freeing Kahndaq from his oppressive rule.

In the present day, Kahndaq finds itself once again under threat, this time from the criminal organization Intergang. Adrianna Tomaz, an archaeologist, embarks on a quest to locate the Crown of Sabbac with her brother Karim and colleagues Samir and Ishmael. Inside the tomb where the crown is hidden, tragedy strikes as Samir is killed by Intergang troops. Desperate, Adrianna reads an incantation that awakens the ancient warrior Teth-Adam, known as Black Adam, from his slumber.
As Black Adam wreaks havoc on his enemies, US government official Amanda Waller sees him as a threat and enlists the help of the Justice Society to stop him. Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher are sent to apprehend Black Adam and bring him to justice. However, as they delve deeper into Black Adam’s origins, they discover a tragic past filled with loss and betrayal.
A Fight for Redemption
Unbeknownst to Adrianna, Ishmael, leader of Intergang’s Kahndaq division, is the last descendant of Ahk-Ton and plans to use the Crown of Sabbac for his own sinister purposes. When Ishmael kidnaps Adrianna’s son Amon, who unknowingly possesses the crown, Black Adam’s true power and rage are unleashed. In a moment of uncontrolled fury, Black Adam inadvertently causes harm to Amon and takes the life of Ishmael.
Guilt-ridden and filled with remorse, Black Adam reveals his tragic past to Hawkman, explaining that he was once a grieving father seeking vengeance for his slain family. Born with the powers of Kahndaq’s true champion, Hurut, Adam’s grief and anger led him down a dark path of destruction and violence. Imprisoned by Shazam for his crimes, Adam believed himself unworthy of redemption.
The Final Battle
As Kahndaq faces a new threat in the form of Sabbac, the champion of the six demons, the Justice Society must band together to stop the impending doom. Sabbac summons the Legions of Hell to terrorize the land, forcing Fate to make a difficult decision to save his comrades. Sacrificing himself, Fate releases Black Adam from stasis, believing him to be the key to defeating Sabbac.
With the help of Amon, Adrianna, and Karim, Black Adam faces off against Sabbac in a climactic battle that tests his strength and resolve. In a moment of redemption, Black Adam triumphs over evil, saving Kahndaq and earning the title of its protector. Destroying the old throne, Black Adam embraces his new identity and vows to use his powers for the greater good, adopting the name that will echo through the ages: Black Adam.
