In the heart of Agua Dulce, California, lies the serene Haywood ranch, where the Haywood family dedicates their days to training and working with horses for the glitz and glamor of film productions. Little do they know that their tranquil lives are about to be upended by a series of inexplicable events that defy all logic and reason.

The Haywood Family’s Unforeseen Tragedy

It all begins on a seemingly ordinary day when small metallic objects unexpectedly start raining down from the sky on the Haywood ranch. Among these objects is a harmless nickel that tragically strikes Otis Haywood Sr., leading to a devastating and unexpected demise. Six months later, his children, Otis Jr. and Emerald, fondly known as OJ and Em, find themselves grappling with the aftermath of the inexplicable tragedy.

After OJ and Em are dismissed from a film set due to a peculiar incident involving their horse, Lucky, they are forced to find alternative means to make ends meet. OJ, in an effort to generate income, begins selling some of the family horses to Ricky “Jupe” Park, the operator of a Western theme park called Jupiter’s Claim. However, little do they know that Jupe harbors a dark past linked to a traumatic childhood experience as a former child actor on the set of Gordy’s Home, a sitcom marred by tragedy involving a chimpanzee named Gordy.

As the siblings navigate these turbulent times, strange occurrences on the Haywood ranch escalate. Their electricity flickers, and their horses display aggressive behavior towards an unseen presence. It is not long before they stumble upon an unidentified flying object (UFO) that is responsible for the mysterious disappearances of their horses. This discovery propels Em and OJ into a world of uncertainty and intrigue.

The Unraveling Mystery of the UFO

Determined to unravel the enigma surrounding the UFO, OJ and Em, along with the help of electronics store employee Angel Torres, embark on a mission to document and expose the existence of the extraterrestrial entity plaguing their lives. As chaos ensues and lives hang in the balance, OJ, Em, and Angel must confront the deadly entity known as Jean Jacket, named after a notorious horse from their past.
