Wealthy Texan Big Enos Burdette and his son, Little Enos, are known for betting notable truckers in Atlanta to bootleg 400 cases of Coors Beer from Texarkana, Texas to Atlanta in 28 hours. After failed attempts and many arrests, they come across local legend Bo “Bandit” Darville at a truck rodeo. They offer him $80,000 to take the bet, which he accepts. With the help of his friend Cledus “Snowman” Snow and his dog Fred, Bandit sets out on this wild adventure.

The Start of a Wild Ride

As Bandit and Snowman load up the truck in Texarkana, a runaway bride named Carrie jumps into Bandit’s car, setting off a chain of events that leads to a high-speed pursuit with Sheriff Buford T. Justice. Unaware of the illegal cargo in the truck, Bandit finds himself evading the relentless Sheriff and his comedic mishaps all the way to Georgia.
